Elizabeth Truss: Selected Despite Her Affairs…
Quick update on our recent post about Elizabeth Truss – the would-be Tory candidate who was threatened by de-selection when her affair with a married Conservative frontbencher became widely known in her constituency. They’ve seen sense and decided that she should be eligible to stand for election. That hasn’t stopped jowly reactionary Sir Jeremy Bagge saying he feels betrayed, but he should learn to look on the bright side: at least everyone will have heard of his MP.
