Hugh Hefner Dumped

The Playboy owner, Hugh Hefner has been dumped by his fiancé just days before their wedding. The 85 year old is said to be heartbroken after his 25 year old wife-to-be changed her mind about wanting to marry him. She left and took his favourite dog, Charlie a cocker spaniel with her, which also apparently upset him

There were 300 guests invited to the ceremony which was going to take place at the Playboy mansion. This would have been his third marriage. He was obviously shocked, but later put on his Twitter page that it was better she did it now than after the marriage. Reports say that he now plans to show the film’ Runaway Bride’ to his guests on that day instead.

There were rumours that they had an argument on the phone. There as also talk that she had planned to dump him at the aisle in order to get a magazine deal worth half a million dollars, as the wedding was being filmed for Lifetime TV. A source had said that she had planned on dumping him on live TV and then sell her story to a magazine or newspaper to get a lot of money but that no one woudl pay her that much money. However, her manager has said that these stories are not true. he said it was an amicable break up but he knew no exact details of what happened.

Hefner was previously married to Mildred Williams and then to Kimberley Conrad.

Dating Myths

The Independent newspaper has recently published an article about on line dating myths. many people have certain assumptions about it and they have taken some of these and explained. them.

The first was that attractive people do not use on line dating. Of course all sorts of people use the service, perhaps more so those that use the Internet for everything and what they look like may be irrelevant.  Another is that you will meet someone straight away. This does not normally happen, you are likely to exchange message with a lot of people before you find one you want to date and then that date may not turn out well. This is the same as life, you meet all sorts of people and some you get on with better than others. You will date some and these dates may not go very far.

It is embarrassing to tell people you met on line. This is such a common thing these days that it is no longer the vase. There are all sorts of ways to meet people on line, not just dating sites and there are all sorts of people on line dating these days and most people know that. Lastly some people think that everyone on line is desperate or a psycho, but anyone who has talked to anyone on line, maybe in a chat room or on a message board will know this is not true. With so many more people using the Internet these days there are so many different types of people to meet that you are just as likely to meet psychos and desperate people off line as on line.

Giggs Loses hair

It seems like Ryan Giggs has been under a lot of stress lately, I cannot say why, or perhaps I am allowed to now? Anyway there are signs that his hair has been falling out.

The Sun newspaper has reported that he has paid £30,000 to stop himself losing any more hair. He has had treatment in the past, so it is believed but he has also paid for a laser gadget so that he can treat his hair follicles to stimulate hair regrowth. He had also reportedly been using special shampoos and lotions.

He used to have regular appointments to get his hair treated but he missed appointments recently and was getting noticeably thinner on top again – according to source to the newspaper.

It seems that he was too bust to keep his appointments for a while. That may have been his commitment to football but more likely his commitment to women! Stress has been linked to hair loss, but despite there being a lot of cures around, there is not much men can do. Although hair replacements, such as the one Wayne Rooney has had, seem pretty good.

Maybe Giggs is getting his hair back in shape so he can get a new woman in his life? He may have been put off going near married ones though!

PDA for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber was spotted with his girlfriend Selena Gomez at the Dallas mavericks – Miami game on Tuesday night. They were in one of the private suites at the place and were seen to be kissing and laughing together.

They were not concerned that they could be seen at the NBA finals in Dallas’s American Airlines Centre. She was cheering various players and he pointed different things out to her. She sat on his lap and sipped at a bottle of water.

They did not hold back during their romantic getaway in Hawaii as they were photographed kissing in the sea. This was just before he took her to meet his family in Canada.

It is impossible to know whether this young couple will last very long. Hollywood romances are not known for their success, but it is good seeing the youngsters enjoying themselves and not being put off by the press attention they were receiving. However, it may not be too long before they start to yearn some privacy. sadly, being a celebrity means that privacy is very hard to come by, even when you are on holiday in Hawaii. Perhaps it is a way of them getting used used to it straight away.

Chris Huhne’s Wife’s Shock at Affair

It has been revealed that Chris Huhne, the Energy Secretary had an affair with another woman when he was an MEP. This announcement comes after he left his wife last year for Carina Trimingham, his bisexual lover.The affair mentioned was not with the women he left his wife for.

The announcement has been reported by Mrs Pryce, his ex-wife, who is said to have mentioned that the information had come as a shock. The story was given to a newspaper reporter from the Sun Newspaper, after she discovered the facts.

The MP has said that the whole ordeal is very much as bad as that being faced by IMF chief Domique Strauss-Kahn, having said that at least he was not being accused of rape. It is true that having an affair and leaving a wife, is not as bad as doing this, but the case is still a serious one due to the police investigations going on with regards to the speeding fine issue.

This announcement adds to the unpopularity of the MP, who has been pressured to resign. However, he has said that he has no plans to do that despite claims that he made his wife bear the brunt of a speeding fine he received. It is alleged that he was driving a car on the M11 in Essex in 2003, but his wife had the points put on her licence. She has an alibi putting her somewhere else at that time and date and he was in the area that evening, having taken a flight from Strasbourg to Essex that evening.

Ramsay Father-in-Law’s Secret Family

Gordon Ramsay’s father-in-law hit the press when he was fired by the celebrity chef. However, more scandal is surrounding him today, as The Sun newspaper has revealed details about his double life.

They have reported that Chris Hutcheson, who brought up four children with his wife Greta and always played the part of model family man, also had a second family with two children that he financed using his massive salary.

He tried hard to conceal what went on, fighting in the courts to stop the newspaper revealing the details of his affair. However, the courts overruled him, having allowed a temporary gagging order while he unsuccessfully appealed against their decision to allow details of his affair to be allowed in the press.

It seems that Ramsay hired a private detective to investigate his father-in-law to find why his company was losing so much money. It was finding out about this, that was part of the reason why he decided to no longer work with the man and his family. Hutcheson and his wife and son have launched lawsuits on Ramsay for unfair dismissal. While what he did was legal, he took days off work without telling staff in advance and according to Ramsay, he took a large loan from the firm. Hutcheson denies that he took money form the firm to support his second family.

Ramsay only came clean to his wife Tana after he fired her father from his business. He had known about the affair and his other family for a while but chose to keep it quiet.

Internet Dating Provokes Murder

A man has been found guilty of killing his wife and part of the reason has been put down to Internet dating. The couple ran Melsonby post office and they were in financial difficulties. The husband was accused of murdering his wife after he discovered her having an affair and using Internet dating sites. It was felt that the financial pressure as well as her behaviour were the motives for the murder which he then tried to cover up, saying it was done by a robber.

Although this is an extreme case, there do seem to be many more relationship problems put down to Internet dating. This is possibly because it is something which can be done in secret and is easily accessible as well as anonymous. It can be one outside of the home, for example at work and may also not feel like an affair, as you may not ever meet people in person, just communicate with them on line through chat rooms or email.

However, it is unlikely that it is causing more people to have relationship problems. It is more likely that they are already having problems and therefore turn to Internet dating as a means of escape. It does put a bad light on the whole area of Internet dating, especially as the press tend to only report negative stories. It is wise to be cautious whenever you are meeting someone you have never met before, whether that is through Internet dating or not. However, there are many success stories, which seem to escape the public eye.

Author Inspired by Internet Dating

A Swindon author has written a book based on her own experiences of Internet dating. The book is called ‘Boy Meets Girl’ and is the 26 year old’s first book. Louise Gibney decided to try Internet dating when she moved to a new area as she felt that it would be a good way to meet new people and her experiences inspired her to write the book.

Her experiences included meeting a con-artist, a Chinese pilot and an illegal immigrant. She even had a situation where she was meeting one of her dates for the first time and ended up chatting to someone else by mistake.

She did find the experience to be a positive one because  she met her current boyfriend of two years using the dating agency. She feels that many more people are using dating services on line and therefore they will be able to relate to a book about it.

She is currently trying to find a publisher for her book which is being serialised in Mk Pulse magazine and is also featured on the on line magazine LayStar’s homepage. Many of the local newspapers in her area has also written articles about the book and her search for a publisher.

It is great that she is working so hard to find a publisher and there is no doubt that the story will be of interest to many people, whether they have used Internet dating or not. However, now that it is being serialised, it is unlikely that a mainstream publisher will now want to take on the book.

Dating Agency Fraud Man Wanted

Ben Williams, a man suspected by the police for committing fraud is wanted by the police. The man is thought to have conned a selection  a woman out of thousands of pounds.

The woman lent the man £2,500 and then she was informed that he had died and spend a further several thousand pounds to try to get hold of the money.

Police are trying to get hold of the man, who told the woman that his name was Ben Williams, that his birthday was 3rd January 1959 and that he was from Bristol. He also has a facebook page where his date of birth is listed as 1st February 1961. They have released a photograph of the man, hoping that anyone recognising him can get in touch with the police so that they can track him down.

The woman first contacted the man through a dating agency and then through email and then met him at a five bedroomed house in Bristol several times. He told her he travelled with business and that on one occasion his bank card wasn’t working while he was on a business trip and this is when she leant him the £2,500. She then received a message from a ‘business partner’ a few weeks later saying that he had died on a trip to Spain and has left her over two million pounds and she then followed instruction to get the money which included paying out more money.When she didn’t receive anything she contacted the police.

Do Celebrity Dates Make Us Envious?

Reading reports that Justin Bieber and his new girlfriend Selena Gomez have recently had a Californian holiday at a cost of $6,000 a night could be enough to make anyone jealous. However, does reading about this sort of thing, make other couples feel like they deserve to be spoilt too?

We do not all want expensive hotel suites but the idea of just being able to get away for a weekend would make a lot of people happy. If this famous couple can manage to find privacy, then why is it so hard for the rest of us? Being just 17, could be something which is in Bieber’s advantage. Having a young family or ageing parents are something which many couples have to face and therefore tie them own to one place.

There are ways to enjoy yourself and add a spark to your relationship though. Many relationship books and advisor’s explain that it is important to continue having dates even when you are married. Newly weds may feel this is a little unnecessary but as the years go by it is easy to ignore each other. The routine of life can get in the way and with working hours tending to be increasing for most people and money worries causing more arguments than ever it can be difficult to keep a relationship going. By taking an evening out each week, to go out together or even to enjoy each others company at home, can make a massive difference in a relationship. You do not need to spend a lot of money as just being curled up on the sofa together, listening to music or watching a DVD can do you as much good as going out for the evening to the cinema.
